OLD MUNSTER CIRCUIT
In the 18th Century, circuits in Ireland were the Leinster, Munster, Connaught, North West & North East Circuits. Two judges went to each circuit lasting from 14 July to 8 August, Barristers from Dublin Travelled with them. The Senior Judges were assigned the better, in terms of travel & quality of inns, being- Leinster & Munster (Cork in Munster). The Barristers attached to circuits, were not confined to a single circuit. Proceedings in each town were expiditious.
